Soulmate!AU where soulmates have matching tattoos
twist: one’s tattoo changes colour according to the other’s mood
She loved to spend her time staring at the delicate ivy that circled her ankle like an expensive bracelet. It was a hobby to try and guess the moods of her unknown soulmate by the colour of her tattoo. Most of the time, the tiny leaves sported a vivid green that to her seemed to indicate a standard mood. Judging by the vibrant hue, her soulmate was an energetic and positive person. Or at least that was what she wanted to believe.
She’d stare at the inked plant for hours daydreaming about the moment that the love of her life would finally bump into her and gift her with the most beautiful of smiles and the instant would be captured in an eternity of fluffy bliss. Charming and elegant, her soulmate would touch her with velvety hands and douse her in gazes made of pure silk.
How far her ideal was from the truth…
She looked down on her inked skin expecting to face the beloved shade of green. Indeed the leafy tint seized her vision and brought a soft smile to her lips. She stared at the inked skin trying to convey all her emotions through the small design to the owner of its doppelganger.
As she focused on it, however, the colour started to change slowly. She expected to see that dark red that it took sometimes, followed by a very depressed blue, which she had associated with what she considered as his or her ‘bad times’. When that depressed blue appeared on her skin, all she wanted was to console her soulmate; she deeply believed that they were suffering.
Yet this time the colour was very different. It started as a gentle purple; it changed into a deep blue, and then to a lively azure; from there to a cheeky green, followed by bright yellow and fiery orange, to end up in a passionate red. It maintained that red hue for a couple of seconds before the colours flowed back to purple. She watched mesmerised as shades replaced one another in endless waves forming a psychedelic rainbow.
She couldn’t fathom what they meant. Her imagination was unable to create a scenario about her soulmate’s mood. What could they possibly be experiencing to be expressed in the form of a rainbow?
Akaashi passed in front of the volleyball club room. It was late and he didn’t expect to find anyone there; he just passed by habitually. As he approached the door, an unfamiliar smell caressed his nostrils. He grimaced trying to identify its source. He had no clue what it was but he was sure that it was coming from the club room.
He extended his arm to the knob, but before he could open the door, Bokuto’s voice froze him in place.
“Kurooooooooo, if Akaashi sees us like this... he’s totally gonna… kill me…” The Fukurodani ace’s tone was slurry; almost unrecognisable. A sly laughter answered Bokuto’s whimper, which Akaashi attributed to the Nekoma captain.
What the heck are they doing?
At the sound of his senpai’s laughter joining Kuroo’s, Akaashi realised that he simply could not ignore whatever was going on in there. He banged the door open only to register the two males half-naked lying against each other laughing. His jaw dropped to the floor.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“Akaashi!” Bokuto sprang up. “It’s not what it looks like!”
“Do I want to know?” the brunet crossed his arms on his chest.
“It’s just that…” Bokuto glanced worriedly at the Nekoma captain who was smiling slyly, his hands hidden behind his back. “Kuroo said that… it would be fun to see rainbows…”
“Huh?” Akaashi stared uncomprehending as Kuroo burst out laughing.
“Bro, help me here!” Bokuto pleaded. “It’s your fault after all.” Kuroo still laughing waved his hand at the Fukurodani vice-captain. Without a word, Akaashi turned his back and left, closing the door behind him.
I will simply forget what happened.
Bokuto sighed and sat down next to Kuroo.
“Well, he caught us anyway. We’d better enjoy the rest at least”, Kuroo flashed a half smile at Bokuto and passed him an almost spent joint.

Sou Inuoka excitedly waltzed from the shelter of his home and into the biting cold air of a frigid winter.
The harsh breeze nipped at his already red cheeks and nose and slightly ruffled his chestnut brown hair, which was istantly covered by a thin white layer of delicate snowflakes.
His thick, tan, gauze covered fingers opened his pale blue mailb

He had been so charming when the relationship first began, oh-so-long ago, back in their high school days. The man had been so surprised, so adorable, when it had been revealed that, yes, she would go on a date with him. And from that date lead to many others. It had been no surprise that the relationship would be long lasting, if not forever. The two, along with Oikawa Tooru, had been lif

I-i went into shock for a moment-but honestly Kuroo persuading Bokuto to smoke a joint with him doesn't seem so out of character.
